This riso print booklet pays homage to the independent record labels No Fun, Torso, and Plurex, which together played a pivotal role in the rise and dissemination of punk and post-punk music in the Netherlands from the late 1970s through the ’80s. A limited-edition reprint of a publication produced for an exhibition in Amsterdam in 2016, it gives an account of No Fun and Plurex, both based in Amsterdam, among the first labels to connect with the young punk movement. No Fun soon changed its name to Torso, but continued to build an impressive and varied catalogue. The booklet highlights the personal memories and views of the musicians and other key figures to tell the story of these labels. Illustrations by Joost Swarte and Max Kisman.
